AskPETRA is a program of the North Country Health Consortium, helping individuals, communities, and professionals in Northern NH understand, prevent, and treat substance use disorder (SUD) through assistance, connection, education, and recovery support.
It’s ok – even pretty normal – to feel overwhelmed. No matter who you are or what you’re dealing with, sometimes the only thing you can do is pick up a phone. At no cost to you, we will listen, answer your questions, and guide you to the right resources. Here are all the ways to AskPETRA.

HOW AskPETRA WORKS
AskPETRA is the North Country Health Consortium’s response to Northern New Hampshire’s Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Crisis. This free service provides local training and one-on-one help to connect adults, families and providers with the knowledge they need to understand, prevent and treat SUD.
Between 8:00am and 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, our trained Community Health Workers/ Recovery Coaches will guide you to the resources you’re looking for. All services are free and confidential.
