Although pain management is effective for older adults, adverse effects of medications along with age-related challenges can prompt misuse. Effective prevention include education and safety coaching to help older adults make sound lifestyle choices when using medications for chronic health conditions. This interactive workshop will review the current prevalence of medication misuse among older adults. Content will also include a discussion about pain management challenges within the potential realities of older adult living. *Please note: Once registered, tickets are not needed for this event.
