Community Health Workers & Support specialists: Working & Thriving in the New Normal

Sponsor: Dartmouth Hitchcock in partnership with the NH CHW Coalition

WHAT: Community Health Workers (CHWs) have continued to thrive despite a new reality where they may no longer be able to meet patients face to face, in clinics or their homes, and have had to shift how they serve their communities. During this Project ECHO Working and Thriving in the New Normal series, subject matter experts, CHW’s, and folks from other related fields will have the chance to learn more about and discuss topics identified as important by CHWs and other community engaged health workers, related to social determinants of health, during this challenging time. Each topic will relate to ways you have/can adapt. Sample topics include: Parenting During COVID, Aging related resources for long-term planning, Motivational Interviewing, Health insurance, SUD/OUD and co-occurring disorders, Social Isolation, Food options, Domestic Violence.

During this series, resources shared will be focused on NH but folks from anywhere are welcome to join.

First Date is December 14, 2021 – on the topic of Social Isolation.
