Please join our partners at SAFEST Choice to learn about the SAFEST Choice National Learning Collaborative, a program that trains clinical teams on how to reduce the incidence of prenatal alcohol exposure (PAE) and improve outcomes in children with possible or diagnosed fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD).
PAE is the leading preventable cause of developmental disability in the U.S. Primary healthcare teams play a vital role in preventing alcohol use during pregnancy and identifying and caring for patients with possible or diagnosed FASD. However, they often feel unprepared to do so.
In this informational session, SAFEST Choice will give an overview of the SAFEST Choice program and will share perspectives of individuals and families with living experience of FASD.
