Sponsor: NH NASW

Child Parent Psychotherapy is an evidence-based mental health intervention for young children exposed to ACEs/trauma and their caregivers.

Mental health professionals working with young children and their caregivers are often intervening as part of a team of providers serving a family. This training prepares early childhood providers to intervene with young children and their caregivers in a manner that is consistent with CPP principles and practices. Learn how to hold the trauma framework with the “triangle of explanation. Help caregivers understand the meaning of their child’s behavior and engage in regulated, attuned interactions. Share in the powerful way that CPP can change a family’s life.
